About The Artwork
This is homage to my precursors - Vincent van Gogh and Francis Bacon. I depicted their favorite models and Muses - Doctor Gachet and George Dyer. Doctor Gachet was a person with a great heart, full of compassion and forgiveness. George Dyer was more complicated character with some deviations in behavior. So he had a bunch of urogenital diseases. I depicted compassion and indulgence, kindness and understanding. We all are flesh, "Dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return". The only what we have - this is our faces what reflects our souls. Through depicting of faces we can be immortalized and stay in memory of mankind. And this is also the story of relations between righteousness and sin: love covers everything. Item is not framed.
