An oil painting on a Masonite board of a hungry Gull that is trying to eat a starfish. It's pretty common to meet a seagull in such situation in Vancouver, and I decided to make a painting of it. I am originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, but since 2016 I live in Vancouver, Canada. Through my artwork, I try to show unusual things in everyday life, the beauty of this world, even if it seems a bit scary or intimidating at first. I love experimenting with mediums, using different materials and mixing them, but most of all I like to paint with watercolour and oil paints.
