About The Artwork

"I'm home" The canvas depicts a boy about 6 years old, wearing a gas mask, standing in the middle of a lifeless forest. His eyes express deep melancholy and despair, and his face seems to reflect the full weight of loss and disappointment. Around him, empty trees are visible, the foliage of which has dried and fallen, the atmosphere is filled with a gloomy mood. The story of this boy began in a peaceful city, where he lived with a happy family. However, one day the world was torn apart by war, and the city found itself in the midst of a terrible disaster. The boy lost his parents and found himself alone in the destroyed forest, where he used to play and spend time with friends. He was forced to wear a gas mask to protect himself from toxic emissions and environmental pollution. Now he wanders along deserted paths, trying to find at least some signs of life, but everything around him reminds him that the past will not return. This painting reminds us of how wars and environmental disasters can destroy the childhood and happiness of many children, leaving them in a world of lifeless emptiness. She calls for understanding and compassion for those who suffer the consequences of such terrible events.
