About The Artwork
The piece was part of the solo exhibition "Amplituda Sedimenta" in February, 2022, at the Gallery 73 in Belgrade. A piece depicting the artist and her sister dressed in traditional Swedish gowns, head dresses and waist bands that illustrate the celebration of Saint Lucia. The painting is a commentary on traditional practices typically designed for female children, that include the dressing and adorning of a child's body.
