About The Artwork
I re-painted this work because A friend of mine got very angry with me for painting over the last version of this painting. However, I do not think I wound up sending the message of romance she wanted. I painted a complex set of emotions between my two subjects that suggests a relationship in trouble. My friend is a little frustrated with me and I think I need to paint this again in the near future to send the message of romance that she would like to see or my head may be forfeit! At any rate, I did not know if I liked this painting initially but it has grown on me. It has power and a strong sense of emotional message.
