Idan V: Crazy Painting

SOLD "Crazy" is the fifth and final artwork in "Idan" series, inspired by the journey into the darkest side of oneself influenced by substances. This artwork consists of four paintings (each 20 x 28 cm). The artwork depicts a man and a woman who both are equally torn by their darkness and craze. They are a perfect match made in hell. She is a black angel with wings and horns. He has a bleeding hole in his heart. They are both tired of drama. They both hope for bright future. Maybe even together. For unknown to me reason, I have always had a very difficult relationship with accepting the people who abuse the substances of all kinds. "Idan" series is my own journey of acceptance of the addiction side of me through observation of other people, dear to my heart at some point in my life. *** Зажгите за меня мою свечу! Мне хочется к вам сердцем прислониться И голову с сомненьями влюбиться Отдать на изучение палачу. Я смерть прошу как лучший из призов, Простую, без грехов и искуплений, Чтоб заново родившись в исцелении, Быть с ним без убеждений и оков. Дарить ему его, а не себя, Сезонно, ежедневно, ежечасно И там, где раньше тлели перетряски, Молчать, не обижаясь и любя. Зажгите... Может он услышит вас!!! К моим слезам он мил и равнодушен, И логикой из прошлой боли душит Наш скромный романтический аванс. Я руки опускаю... и смотрю На блеск свечей на фоне мертвых улиц... Вот фитильки друг к другу повернулись... Они сулят нам счастье к ноябрю?!! (C) 2017 TRANSLATED POETRY (ENGLISH) Please, light my candle for me! I want to lean against you with my heart And my head with doubts about love Submit to tall assassin squad. I ask for death as the best of the prizes But simple, no atonement, no sins, To be reborn again and cured, To be with him without chains or wins. To give him himself, and not my core, Ever day, every season, every hour And where worries smoldered before, To stay not offended, loving, silent and powerful. Please light it ... Maybe he will hear you !!! To my tears, he is apathetic and cute, Yet he chokes with the logic of past pain and feuds Our humble romantic pursuit. I lower my hands ... and freeze my gaze As candles in the backdrop of dead streets tremble ... The wicks are catching each other’s blaze... Do they promise us happiness by November? !!
