PAINTER | SCULPTOR Oto Macek BORN IN 1969 Oto Macek is a contemporary glass artist and painter .His painting is based on the geometric abstraction of landscape and architecture. For most of his paintings, painting is the basis of painting created by cement, the layering of relief elements creates a composition an image that is then colored and lacquered. He uses oil and acrylic paint for his painting. In his glass work he prefers glass sculptures studio glass. Sculptures are mostly made of uranium and lead glass.The object is first modeled from clay, then its shape into plaster and the object is melted in a glass furnace. The objects are then ground and polished. His sculptures are most inspired by architecture contemporary and historical. His paintings and glass sculptures are sold to private collectors all over the world, particularly U.S.A.
