This painting was created during the darkest evenings of 2025, in the quiet months shaped by early sunsets and long stretches of solitude. Contact us.I'm an oil painter based in New York City, devoted to visualizing my ascension toward my higher self—closer to God. With a background in engineering and statistics, I paint with both precision and reverence, guided by an understanding of how light shapes form and how probability reveals pattern. My work merges the logic of science with the transcendence of the divine.
Each painting is a devotional act—an offering born from prayer, gratitude, and surrender. My practice centers on a single question: What does divine presence feel like? I explore this through the language of the natural world—the depth of waves, the living architecture of coral reefs, and the way light filters through water like grace through stained glass.
My process builds upon the Old Masters’ tradition of indirect painting, reimagined to express the miraculous rather than the material. Instead of transparent glazes, I layer diffused, opaque light over form, allowing illumination to emerge from within. This inversion creates an atmosphere of mystery and reverence—echoing the quiet, redemptive presence of God.
