About The Artwork

This painting is part of the "Eternal change" collection. This body of works explore the themes of permanence, adapting to change and letting go through the use of the symbols of the mountains and of the skies and sun cycles. Using the natural elements is a metaphor for the need of grounding to weather the overwhelming changes that one can face in life, the acceptance of natural cycles of letting go and starting again, of life and death. The paintings of this series are also the expression of that special moment where we feel connected to bigger forces, making us feel we belong and are supported through our human journey, no matter the challenges. It happened quiet Everything was standing still Unmovable landscape standing cold, strong and stubborn It only needed a glimpse of light and every thing looked a bit different shadows playing on the rocks Meadows glistening and murmuring the wind seemingly tinted with a new colour it happened slowly and quiet and the world got a little brighter for it
