La notte dell'inguana Painting

Born in Atessa in 1978, she completed her classical studies in Fermo (Marche) and graduated in Bologna University in 2003 in Communication Sciences. Artistically self-taught formed, developing a passion for the expressions of beauty that grows from her youth, leaded also by the circle of artists who attend the family home. Year by year her aesthetic research is conducted all over the world, from Paris to Bahia, from Shanghai to New York, and intensive study of the masters works of the twentieth century like Modigliani, Renoir, Hopper, Vettriano. In 1994 she began the theater training, which will mark her whole artistic production. In 2000 she graduated in acting at two-year school for actors of Teatro del Navile in Bologna, where later she taught for a few years. From the same year she directed and set design of the show in which she acted in pièce di authors like Goldoni and Pinter. She sign set design playing around on the combination of strong colors and the visual impact, according to a semiotic key designed to reach directly the public. The same ‘chromatic shock’ and clarity of shapes that is the basis of her painting works. In 2003 marks a milestone in collaboration with the "Artistic Circle of Bologna", the oldest and most prestigious cultural association of the city, through which she has met the most important masters of contemporary art. Since 2007 she dedicated to the technique of oil on canvas, producing strictly figurative works in which stand feminine sensuality. An "alter ego" of painting which plays itself in the space of a painting, the strength, the movement and the will of the stage characters.
