Letting Go Painting

I am fascinated with the Dandalion or Ginny Joe as we called them when we were children. Known for their healing properties yes classed as a weed. I generally like to have a meaning in each painting. The first painting I did it was just the beauty of the Ginny Joes feathers. so tiny, such perfect and complext pattern. Yet so gentle a blow of air and they fly off to wherever they land and create a whole new plant life. It reminded me that life is just like that cycle and I noticed every relationship tangle, or having to let go of something I thought precious I would end up doing a Ginny Joe paintings sometimes simplre sometimes complicated .but actually cathartic and how I start calling them "Letting Go" Cathartic in that it helped me express the pain, the joy whatever the emotion.
