i believe life comes in stages. this painting represents a stage in life when you choose to accept your battles; to stop hiding from your demons and walk through the warzone defenceless but without fear. the bird has chosen to take flight and explore... life is a mess. the splatters of colour and black drips gave me closure to understand that the world is made for imperfection and harsh details that strike the montonous road society has paved for us. we were made to be imperfect and when you reach that stage when you decide to accept your past, present and future that is when you finally will feel liberated.
