The Triptych is based on the 1980 Song Lyrics of LOVE STINKS by the J Geils Band - You Love Her But She Loves Him And He Loves Somebody Else You Just Can't Win And the complex and tragic Relationship between the famous Artists' Model of Matisse - Lucy Vidil - (1891-1977) - And her husband the Norwegian Artist - Per Krogh - (1889-1965) (Author of New York U.N. Security Council Chamber Mural and Godson of Edvard Munch) - And her Lover the celebrated Artist - Jules Pascin -(1885-1930) (The Prince of Montparnasse) who took his own Life in 1930 with the words written with his own Blood on his bathroom mirror - "Adieu Lucy" due to his failure to persuade Lucy to leave her husband Per for him.
