I started this art work with the canvas on the floor and drawing with synthetic enamel. The fluidity of this material allows me to make a quick and spontaneous statement that does not attend to the intellect but rather emerges later. I do not cover the tin of enamel, in order to form a layer of dry paint on the top, I cut it out and I take the circles of color for the composition. The circle sticks to the canvas while the paint remains liquid, the drying takes a few days as it is a lot of material. I could never known what shape is going to form. The pursuit of color is essential in the definition of that form. ABOUT ME I am interested in languages, painting and astrology are my favourite ones; they enable my communication. I got my English Sworn Translator degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and soon realized translation was not my way. I started the Art History carreer at UBA, studied for two years and decided I wanted to paint. In 1982 I began a training with Miguel Davila and studied with him at his studio during more than 10 years learning drawing, with pencil and charcoal at first, and the use of color in oil painting afterwards. I also attended classes with Carlos Gorriarena, from 2000 to 2002 and it was there that I discovered my preference for color in acrylic painting. Likewise, I attended other workshops, as in de Museum of Decorative Art with Carlos Cañas. I studied Astrology at Casa XI and ended my training in 1992, since then I have been a full time consultant astrologer, teacher and engaged in the investigation of Astrology. I took part in collective exhibitions of Miguel Davila students. In October 2002 I obtain a place through the Art Contest for the Art Show of Palermo Viejo during the weekends, where I exhibited until April 2003. I received a distinction at a Contest in the Argentine Society of Plastic Artists for Small Size Paintings in 2002 and 2 distinctions to artistic creation at the University of Belgrano in 2003. In June 2012 I had my first solo art exhibition in my house-studio. In June 2013 I had an audiovisual exhibition at the C. C. Borges in Buenos Aires, a project including paintings, astrology, literature (written by Nana Schenstrom) and music (composed and performed by Lucía Ruiz Guiñazú). In August 2014 I took part in a collective exhibition in Art Space L`Abri.
