About The Artwork
The main theme of my creative work is the manifestation of the illusory nature of the surrounding world. This theme is the most interesting and rich for exploration to me. Sometimes, I change materials and adjust my technique to unveil the images encountered in life for study. The human perspective is filled with illusions and patterns, which I investigate in my works. I rarely engage in social life or participate in public events because my research is captivating and requires significant internal work. My paintings can sometimes be very meticulous in execution, and I don't care how much time it takes to realize the idea because the process of exploration and creation is what matters most to me. I was inspired to this work by the spontaneity and variability of female nature

Dina Zakman is a Latvian artist. She graduated from the Janis Rozentāls Riga Art School, and the Latvian Academy of Arts. Dina Zakman is known for designing an album cover for the band: Mumiy Troll, and creating graphic designs for racing cars and aircraft. Zakman is one of only two Eastern European participants in "Spring in Montblanc '' an exhibition and collaboration with the Montblanc company, supporting prominent figures in contemporary art. Zacman's paintings are painstakingly detailed, she often uses minute brushes to work on the finest details of her two-meter works. As a result, she creates no more than ten paintings in a year in addition to graphic art. Her art has been exhibited both in Latvia and internationally, including in The United States, The United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
