Montana x Monroe Painting

This piece reflect bold and ambitious characters, most of my work is inspired by cinema, and I wanted with this painting to bring 2 famous characters/celebrities together. Tony Montana (Al Pacino) from the movie Scarface is resting on his couch smoking his cigar with Lorelei Lee (Marilyn Monroe) from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is sitting next to him holding a gun to his throat. These 2 characters reflect ambition, one wants the American dream, drugs, girls and money and the other wants nothing less than diamonds. The 2 of them work well together as they will use one another in their own way in order to get what they want. The sunset lighting reflect the warm light of Miami (Scarface) as well as the beginning of a story since both of these characters start their work mostly at night.
