Mosquito Net Colony Painting

India is a country where you can see a lot of inter state migration happening. Every city has a landscape, which includes certain vacant places. My artwork is a portrayal of one such vacant space in the city where the migrant workers temporarily make a settlement. The scenario is such that this landscape looks full of life and as a dwelling settlement at night when all the workers come back from their respective works. They open up their beddings and make temporary rooms with the mosquito nets and sleep in it at night and then next morning all is bundled up and hanged on the trees near by and all you can see is plain ground. So a part of this changing landscape is captured in this artwork where you can see a lot of night activities in an open area near a foot path and the light from the street lamp is all they rely upon. The whole painting is executed in Miniature technique and therefore you could see a lot of activities and details.
