Navajo 2 Painting

This I consider a "channeled " example of painting. it starts with bands of powder pigments suggesting a cross between landscape and simple geometric American Indian designs, however, at some point in the process, it's not enough to leave it as it is, and I "let go" of the fears of making mistakes, to access spontaneous impulse and higher intuition through the process known today as "Channeling" hence , even the original motif is covered again with more bands of color and large brush strokes of pure color in water is brushed across the painting spontaneously creating a cloud like image or "wings , partly covering the hoop with feathers in the center, leaving a indescribable image that leaves much up to the imagination of the viewer
