About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by my move from living in the city of Chicago (for 21 years) to a western suburb just outside of the city. This was a big transition for my family and I did a series of pieces documenting this move. This is one of several pieces from that particular body of work. There would frequently be a drunk guy on the train on my way home who looked like Ned Flanders. One night he announced to the entire train "Next Stop Miami"!
