The title “Occupied” is a quibble. it means both “occupied while talking on the phone” and “occupied doing something”. The painting is about our constant state of mind. We are always busy with something. The question is:”what are we actually busy with?” A man of today navigates in the network’s fog. His boat is made of paper because his dreams are fragile. The boat looks like a refulgent stone because dreams are intense and precious. Man tries to find his own way in life by means of communication with himself and with the others. He intents prevent himself from wearing masks proposed by society.
