Parisa Sahafiasl was born in Ardebil - Iran in 1984 and holds a PhD degree in history of Islamic Arts and has had exhibitions of her paintings in different cities so far. She is infatuated by Contemporary artist’s technique. her subject matter is human, whether it is a traditional figure or a body and humanistic subjects painting. her goal is to inspire those who see her work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover human emotions in Artistic forms and combinations. Her paintings represent of nostalgic space between two proses where are past experience and new living experience and are desire to constitute a sense of floating among these processes. She uses the integration of oriental motifs and the significance of expressionism as a method. As a contemporary artist, she tends to focus solely on visual aesthetics with the display of cultural and historical features. For this reason, she considers the art with culture and the world. Her artworks come from her stories, namely, the moment of past and future of oriental gestures is expressed on her canvases.
