About The Artwork
My brother loves pineapples. This painting is a study of a pineapple that I painted as part of a larger painting for him. It is also an observational painting in its own right, painted in natural light and from life. This painting draws the viewer into the visual experience of the colors and textures of the objects presented and helps him to pause and dwell in the mystery and simplicity of a moment in time. This piece is a small 6"x8" oil painting. It is painted on an Ampersand Gessoboard panel and comes unframed.
