About The Artwork
The artwork is READY TO HANG. This painting talks about a book that i read: Charles Bukowski (poet and American novelist) and his work. Controversial character, Bukowski, who was a big alcoholic, lived during approximately 10 years with Jane Cooney Baker, who drank even more that he. She died at the age of 49 further to a cirrhosis. She was 10 years older than Bukowski. Her death affected him a lot, even if he was meanwhile separated from her. Jane touched me in her weakness and its poverty.
