"Portrait of self-immolation" (from the series" Russian posolon") - oil, cardboard 50 to 60 cm. the cost of 180$ shipping at the expense of the buyer posolon (behind the sun, going clockwise) in the Russian old Orthodoxy is sometimes called the procession. One of the most tragic episodes of the Russian schism (XVII century, Nikon's reform) is the clash of two Religious processions at Easter (nikonians go the other way), which led to a "bloody battle for the cross and fire." The self-immolation of the schismatics was also sometimes called "posolon fire"
