About The Artwork
Dali, Francis bacon, Naiza Khan and Tracey Emin have been a constant inspiration for my artwork. This particular piece revolves around our society and its response towards women. I have used meat symbolising women. I have used mix media; oil and lead on canvas. i have found rendering with lead very soothing and aesthetically very pleasing. I have been working in oils for over seven years. Their combination gives me the freedom to exploit my strengths and weaknesses in the respective mediums.
