About The Artwork
On this mixed media artwork dominates the presence of a young woman with graceful appearance. She is the central motif of the painting and immediately attracts the attention of the viewer. In her simple, sporty elegance, she wears an underarm shirt that emphasizes her youthful charm. The young woman's gaze is marked by a deep, almost magnetic intensity. Her eyes seem to look into the soul of the viewer. The cross necklace she wears is adorned with precious stones gives the image a spiritual dimension and harmonizes with the overall design of the work. The background, created with acrylic spray paint, is imbued with a special atmosphere, a kind of dreamscape. Looking at the picture I see as an artist a profound presence of the young women in an atmospheric depth of the background, which invites into a special contemplation and reflection of the world. I painted the picture in 2017 and revised in 2023. The woman depicted is an actress in Germany and my model for many years. Please note the color variation with different light sources. That's why I also put in photos taken outside in brightest light.

In this way especially deep emotions are expressed. I use these photo templates and paint them as a second step. A further characteristic of my work is the light. On black canvases I paint only the light. The shadow is the black canvas that remains free. The reduction to the light makes the special attraction.
