ABOUT THE ARTWORK
ROCKY SHORES LIGHTHOUSE is an original acrylic painting on hand stretched and triple primed canvas, size 36 x 48in. This painting was started in Connecticut on Hand Stretched triple primed cotton duck fabric in the year 2005. It was placed aside, packaged for a move and finished in Florida in Sept 2023. This painting is finished with acrylic gel and final coated with a UV protective varnish. The painting is signed in the lower right corner and framed in a modern black, aluminum floater frame and wired for hanging.

I am a retired Sr. Test Engineer, Electrical/ Electronics. Although technical was my life's work, the way to support a family, I have been an artist since around the age of 6. At a young age I was drawing and painting while the other kids my age were trying to stay in the lines of the coloring book. I am a self taught artist and around 1984 I began showing and selling my art at juried shows in and around New England, primarily Connecticut. Some of the works in my shop are from those years. As you can see, from my shop, I like color and realism. I have a small studio in my home in Cocoa, Florida where I have been creating works since 2007.
