About The Artwork

Poppies are red on golden burnt grass, like flashes of flame. Bright poppies as the personification of the continuation of life and bright flashes of feelings, the fire of passion and desire to live. The red color arouses feelings and desires. The symbol of this bright flower is associated with both nature and the eternal cycle of her dying and rebirth. In the same way, the poppy in different cultures and beliefs acted as a sign of sincere love, ecstasy, a symbol of eternal youth and beauty. Red poppy was considered a talisman in Slavic traditions - in Russia this plant was used as a protection against the evil eye and witchcraft. Red poppies are beautiful bright flowers that you can look at forever like a blazing fire.
