This is vibrant in colour and texture painting of stunning Riomaggiore village, considered to be the most romantic of the Cinque Terre. Beautiful Riomaggiore is a cascade of multi-coloured houses in the typical Ligurian style, all tightly clustered around a tiny natural picturesque harbour carved out in between the rocks and offers the best sunset spot in Cinque Terre. I created this painting using layers of bold acrylic paint applied with various palette knives to achieve highly textured, modern, impressionistic piece. Colours I have chosen are mainly different shades of green and blue with accents of vibrant yellow, orange, pink and purple.
