ORIGINAL PAINTING ©2023 This artwork is an homage to the Femen Movement. Femen is a radical feminist activist group who’s goal is protect women’s right . It was founded in Ukraine in 2008, is now based in Paris Femen’ s activism began during times in which feminism and gender definition were absolutely excluded from the contemporary public discourse. I made this work twelve years ago for the first time, printed on the mdf board. This original artwork, created in 2023, is made using mixed media on Bristol paper. “INFORMAL GRAFFITI is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti practice is informal because it does not follow the media, the format, the scale orthe intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti gets inspiration from ArtePovera’s philosophy, attempting to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards, aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, recycled old paper,etc.)”. "My recent work is focusing on the idea of "contrast". I am telling about different, clashing realities, visions, contradictions. Those creates sparks of energy, ideas. Those contrasts are the source for the Arts. Art becomes the tool to give interpretation to socialinjustice, racism, classism, violence, ignorance, absence of language. The viewer become the vector for a new kind of cultural debate"

THE INFORMAL GRAFFITI PROJECT "Informal Graffiti is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti is informal because does not follow the media, the format, the scale or the intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti is an attempt to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards , aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, dirty old paper, etc) in order to decontextualize the traditional relationship between the viewer and the message. I look at Arte Povera philosophy as cultural inspiration , because it is the only art movement that challenged the establishment in terms of art, politics, economy, culture. Arte Povera’s ideas boost my sense of engagement to the surrounding world, where art practice becomes the main way to rebel, to disagree, to criticize, to reimagine, to reinvent. I reject the idea of using art to create social media phenomenons, because I personally make some art to survive and not to entertain" Fabio Coruzzi exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs around the world.
