I’m a self taught abstract artist living and working in London, with my inspiration ranging from the natural world of flowers and blossoms to the grand amphitheatre of outer space.
Through my art, I am concerned with the expression of thoughts and feelings through vertical marks. The horizontal line, when traced across the curved surface of the Earth, eventually returns to itself in a continuous loop; because of this, true expression can never be achieved. The vertical mark, by contrast, ascends and does not return. It reaches upward and away, toward a star.
I use golden heavy acrylics in all my work as it’s the only medium that is able to adequately translate the brightness of my imagination to the canvas.
