About The Artwork

The painting was created (with breaks) in Summer 2017. Originally it had no main idea and no reason to represent a ship. The very beginning of the painting looked like dark blue blurry lines on canvas. Lines turned into the Tower of Babel. This Tower - as a symbol of Human Pride - was the reason for a ship to appear. The ship is a symbol of searching the answers on the questions inside, of the inner struggle with your own inside storm and Pride. An orb in the right lower part of the canvas reminds about the presence of an invisible Power which is always around and always observes you.
