Mixed Media on Paper, size 20x50x0,1cm shown in the matte, without matte 30x60x0,1 cm. These are the colors of a quiet windy winter day at the sea, what can also be seen as a metaphor for us all facing rough times at the moment. It is part of my "Stormy Grey Sea"-series. 50x20x0,3 cm on paper (seen in the matte), framed example shown here 70x40x2 cm, the sheet without matte is 30x60x0,1 cm. The painting itself comes as a sheet of paper, signed on the back, with certificate of authenticity. If you want it signed on the front, just ask. If you want advice on the framing for a different style/colour of frame that´s no problem, just ask. I will help you ordering this kind of frame in a different color or material. Please note that colors may vary slightly on different monitors. Shipping costs cover professional packing materials, insurance, transport etc but not customs/duties. © 2017 Gesa Reuter - All rights reserved

Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
