About The Artwork

I put symbols in my paintings. Sometimes explicit and simple, sometimes hidden and ambiguous. It helps convey a feeling and an idea. We perceive symbols not only consciously, but also subconsciously. In this picture, the symbol is a nest. An ambiguous symbol is a home, a family hearth, and the continuity of generations. The egret also has many meanings. The image of a heron, like a stork, is used mainly for keeping the hearth, protecting the house, family traditions and customs. The heron is a personal protector for the most important and intimate in the family. This is a symbol of the arrival of spring, the creative changes that it brings to nature and to the house. The canvas is stretched over a stretcher. The ends are painted over with white.
