About The Artwork

The painting was painted with acrylic paints on a linen canvas and covered with glossy varnish. There is a signature on the back (title, author, year of execution). The sides of the work are painted in gray-blue. “That House Across the Lake” is the story of a house that stands out from the rest. Even though the house is a very small part of the painting, the eye is drawn to it. The entire surroundings surround the house and make it unique, probably its inhabitants are also interesting people for whom nature and peace play an important role in their lives. You can also notice that the house is bustling with life, as the lights are on in almost every room. The hour in the painting is the evening of one of the last summer days. The apples are ripe and the grass in the meadow is becoming more and more intensely straw-colored. Tall trees frame the house and are a beautiful emerald color. The lake took on the colors of the sky and gracefully reflects everything like a mirror. In the distance you can see beautiful hills with the last rays of the sun still falling. This painting is for everyone who perhaps loves traveling or maybe loves interesting stories and beautiful nature. The painting can also be a great gift idea for someone special.

Agnieszka Turek was born in 1994. From an early age she was interested in drawing. This fascination turned into experiments with other artistic techniques including oil pastels, charcoal, and acrylic paint. She paint what she thinks is important or sometimes simply interesting. She's trying to put some magic, love and other pleasent feelings into her artworks. She's also leaving some space for reflection and daily rediscovering the painting. The most important is the communication between man and artwork. If someone is able to be interested in painting and it evokes emotions it can be called real piece of art. Her paintings are decorations of many houses in Poland and abroad. Artworks are unique and one-of-a-kind, as they are inspired by imagination, personal experiences, and emotions. Each piece is created with a specific theme or concept in mind, and they are created with a whole heart and soul to bring them to life on canvas.
