THE WORK IS MADE WITH WITH MATERIALS OF THE BEST QUALITY, DURABLE piece UNICUM "The GODS a" is a composition of icons. It is part of the Le PICTA, personal evocations inspired by the Itineraria picta. The GODS are protagonists of Romans and Dacian worlds, of the polytheistic culture. (God of Fire, Goddess of Lightning, God of Construction, God Blacksmith, God of Abstraction and Sciences, God of Architecture and Buildings, Goddess of Electricity, Goddess of the Earth, God of the Wheat, God of the Infinite). I was inspired by the Roman copies of Hellenistic and Roman statues of Palazzo Altemps (Dadoforo, Athena, Herakles), Palazzo Massimo (Hellenistic Prince, Herakles, Lucrezia, Capitoline Museums (Hercules etc). My drawings interpret in iconic language, humanized and connected symbolic images, where the human body is not inspired by anatomy, but to the "work of art", composed as the impulses of memory in an open space. Starting from screen printing I developed a my particular painting technique for tu create unique works and not to produce multiples. I have "layered" on canvas in 15 colors the 11 preparatory drawings. By manipulating the silk-screen canvas as if it were "a brush", "a pencil" or "an engraving needle", and therefore working with "groups of signs" that overlap, it allows me to create a sharp image, with a strong chromatic impact and clean, which supports the materiality of the colors, but at the same time is cured in detail. Born in Lugoj, Romania. Established in Italy since 1987, where he lives and works. Awards received: in 1987 she was awarded a National Prize of Romanian Visual Artists Union for drawing, engraving and lithography. 1996 won a silver plate for work SUPERSLIDE 29at the 23° Sulmona Prize International Contemporary Art Competition, Diocesan Civic Museum, Sulmona (AQ), Abruzzo; 2012 she received the Art Critics’ Special Mention for her pictorial installation Metaphor: Central Group Y + Central Detail + Lower Detail at the Lìmen International Art Competition held at the Enrico Gagliardi Museum in Vibo Valentia, Calabria; 2013 her project COWMAN of the World - was selected through competition and has participated at the inaugural Opening of the New Science Museum MUSE in Trento, designed by Archistar Renzo Piano. He participated with two digital installations and drawing performance. June 22, 2018 he was awarded the "Excellency Award" of the Romanian Government "100 for Centenary" (10 for Italy), held at Romanian Academy in Rome, for his artistic work made in Italy. Conferred by MPRP. 2020 - She was awarded the Special Prize for the Foreign Artist at 47°Sulmona Prize International Contemporary Art for the work PICTA MANENT 2020.
