This particular painting is part of an ongoing series called "Planet Waves". This work started off as a pencil sketch and then it quickly evolved into a full blown painting. The work was inspired by the previous paintings that are part of this "Planet Waves" series. I was mostly fascinated with how i can juxtapose the various different shapes next to each other. I feel that acrylic paint made the painting look radiant and vivid. The acrylic paint gave this painting shade and texture. The subject matter is really a way for me to experiment with different elastic and sharp shapes. I want the viewers to get lost in this painting. The viewer will be able to see that all the shapes and colors work extremely well together like a puzzle.
