From all the painters that have inspired me I give a special emphasis to Artemisia Gentileschi, Gustav Courbet, Edgar Degas, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, the Pre-Raphaelites, Emile Nolde, Paula Modersohn-Becker, Edvard Munch, Gabriele Münter, Edward Hopper, Alice Neel, Marlene Dumas among many others. I work over sketches and photographs. I think that to be courageous and honest are the most important things in Art. I want to wake up certain kind of non-conformism, transmitting the incorruptible and unarmed rebelliousness of the dissident artist. Nací en Madrid.
