About The Artwork

Lily: What’s wrong with you? Why did you run from me? Ho Kam-An: It has nothing to do with me. Lily: I want to ask you.. Ho Kam-An: I’m busy. Lily: Do you know who the Masked Garfield is? Ho Kam-An: No. Lily: Really? Ho Kam-An: Really! Lily: I should have guessed. He must be someone I know. Ho Kam-An: Good guess. Lily: Do you know why he wears the mask? Ho Kam-An: Why? Lily: Because he wants to remain anonymous. he doesn’t want people to repay him. Ho Kam-An: Right! He is generous and giving. His greatness is comparable to that of Jesus Christ! Master Blackbear: I’m busy tonight. What about tomorrow? I have two tickets for Jacky Cheung’s concert. Let’s go together. Lily: I having my period tomorrow. I can’t go out. Master Blackbear: What a coincidence! So am I! [both burst out into laughter] Announcer: We have two weeks to go. How is Ho Kam-An getting on with his drill? Let’s take a look. [The camera pans to Ho Kam-An holding a beach ball in front of a pool] Ho Kam-An: [in English] Come on baby. Let’s go for fun… Yeah! [He then throws the beach ball and jumps into the pool] Announcer: Happy Boxing Championship will begin, yeah… First one out is Karate expert Tuen Shui-Lau, nicknamed ’The Killing Machine’. Karate is about causing damage, all Karate experts have trained every part of their bodies to be destructive: breaking ice, chopping wood, splitting stones, breaking bottles. Tuen Shui-Lau is particulary outstanding. His punch has enough power to smash a watermelon. Talk is cheap. Bring out your cameras and see for yourself. Next up from the Ancient Chinese Boxing school. The master Devilish Muscle Man is the arch enemy of Karate. According to our sources. Other than making a mean cup of tea. He hasn’t learnt much. That’s why this duel is considered a suicidal attempt. What prompted him to do this is still a mystery. From the murderous look on his face, he seems to have something up his sleeve, making this into an even greater mystery. from ‘Love on Delivery’ (1994) Starring Stephen Chow (CJ7), Christy Chung (The Red Wolf), Ben Lam (Police Story), Philip Chan (Bloodsport), Joe Cheng (From Beijing With Love), Jacky Cheung (A Chinese Ghost Story II), and Man-Tat Ng (Fight Back to School). Written by Vincent Kok (The God of Cookery). Directed by Lik-Chi Lee (Out of the Dark). Love on Delivery (破壞之王; aka. King of Destruction) is a 1994 Hong Kong comedy film directed by Lee Lik-Chi Source: Wikipedia (Available on: Amazon Prime Video and Netflix) (Now only available on Amazon for purchase or rental)

I’m (I am?) a self-taught artist, originally from the north suburbs of Chicago (also known as John Hughes' America). Born in 1984, I started painting in 2017 and began to take it somewhat seriously in 2019. I currently reside in rural Montana and live a secluded life with my three dogs - Pebbles (a.k.a. Jaws, Brandy, Fang), Bam Bam (a.k.a. Scrat, Dinki-Di, Trash Panda, Dug), and Mystique (a.k.a. Lady), and five cats - Burglekutt (a.k.a. Ghostmouse Makah), Vohnkar! (a.k.a. Storm Shadow, Grogu), Falkor (a.k.a. Moro, The Mummy's Kryptonite, Wendigo, BFC), Nibbler (a.k.a. Cobblepot), and Meegosh (a.k.a. Lenny). Part of the preface to the 'Complete Works of Emily Dickinson helps sum me up as a person and an artist: "The verses of Emily Dickinson belong emphatically to what Emerson long since called ‘the Poetry of the Portfolio,’ something produced absolutely without the thought of publication, and solely by way of expression of the writer's own mind. Such verse must inevitably forfeit whatever advantage lies in the discipline of public criticism and the enforced conformity to accepted ways. On the other hand, it may often gain something through the habit of freedom and unconventional utterance of daring thoughts. In the case of the present author, there was no choice in the matter; she must write thus, or not at all. A recluse by temperament and habit, literally spending years without settling her foot beyond the doorstep, and many more years during which her walks were strictly limited to her father's grounds, she habitually concealed her mind, like her person, from all but a few friends; and it was with great difficulty that she was persuaded to print during her lifetime, three or four poems. Yet she wrote verses in great abundance; and though brought curiosity indifferent to all conventional rules, had yet a rigorous literary standard of her own, and often altered a word many times to suit an ear which had its own tenacious fastidiousness." -Thomas Wentworth Higginson "Not bad... you say this is your first lesson?" "Yes, but my father was an *art collector*, so…"
