About The Artwork
In this work, I have fused oil and Chinese ink to portray serenity and abandonment. I capture the figure in a relaxed pose, contrasting the warmth of the body with the freshness of vibrant roses. It is a dialogue between the figurative and the semi-abstract, inviting contemplation and inner peace in each space it occupies. The woman is resting, around her there are brightly colored flowers. This work has been done in mixed technique of Indian ink and oil on textured cardboard.
