Dennis Wymer is a visual arts teacher and wrestling coach at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA. He earned his MFA in painting from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2021. Dennis is also a 2006 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, earning a BFA in art education and studied painting & printmaking there as well. Wymer was a recipient of the 2020 VMFA Graduate Fellowship from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA. He also teaches adult and teenager painting workshops at Chestnut Creek School of the Arts in Galax, VA.
