About The Artwork
Dancing and flowing, this goddess is rising from the sea. Inspired by a fable and my own personal journey, this is a small but powerful painting. The colors are the colors of the sea, including the brilliant magenta and coral of sea life below the surface. It is painted in acrylic with numerous layers of glazing and texture and is finished with an archival gloss varnish. The original is set into a handmade wood frame designed for this piece. The frame is textured and painted to complement the painting.
