This work "The Wave" belongs to my series: Majorca. The technique is acrylic based on casein and on cotton duck canvas. Inspired by my views of the sea from the Mallorcan mountains. It is signed in front and back and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.

Annabel Andrews was born in the Isle of Wight in 1940 now lives and works in El Escorial near Madrid Spain, where the colour, light and volumes of the mountains inspire her work. As also her friendship with the late Spanish artists Pablo Palazuelo and Jose Guerrero. By preparing her own canvases with home made casein glue base and zinc white the work is light and luminous ready for applying acrylic colours.
