About The Artwork

This painting was inspired by the great work of a Finnish eye surgeon, who operated my Father. That's how the eye come in to be the subject. I got interested in the eye, as to express artistic tallents through such an amazing organ. The name however came from an art critic who visited the gallery one day prior to he opening. I heard two people talking and looking at the painting. Many were actually interested in this painting. It sits currently illuminating the entry corridor of the Porvoo Health Centre, in Finland. People feel relaxed and calm calm looking athe painting and entering the premises.
