The way of all flesh Painting

The artwork consists of three separate canvases: two lateral 180x90 cm and one central 180x180 cm, which must be exhibited closely without a gap. This work is a reflection of my thinking about materiality of the human body and the nature of consciousness. These problems have always been important for human society and stimulated its development. Certain ideas about the nature of the soul corresponded to a certain historical epoch. Two World Wars, the development of Medicine and Psychology have turned over people's representations about a soul. The problem of death as a part of life is becoming more urgent, it is reflected in the work of artists such as Egon Schiele, Alberto Burri, Lucio Fontana. In this artwork I wanted to portray the most modern scientific ideas about the death and nature of the mind and and confront them with archaic representations of most people.
