About The Artwork
This is an abstract acrylic painting on canvas. This painting is based on my love of science and astronomy, and I emphasize the color of deep blue because to me that is the color of space. It's also got a lot of energy and contrast to make this painting look almost 3D. This painting is all blues, dark blues and whites. The size is 36" x 24" by 1.5" and has gallery-wrapped painted edges.

I have painted since I was very young and always knew I wanted to be an artist. After college I moved to San Francisco, then back to Minnesota, and now I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been in many solo and group art shows along the way. Currently doing shows and art fairs in the Atlanta, GA area. I don't pursue brick and mortar galleries because I believe the future of art buying is online galleries and in person sales at art fairs. I do a few art fairs every summer to promote my art and find out what the public is feeling about art.
