acrylic, charcoal, oil, on canvas A gentle exploration and journey through shifting light and obstacles into hope beyond via charcoal, greys, earthy bright yellow. Layers of haze drips scrapes palette work and brush scumbling push and pull this square work into what resonates in the body as a landscape. The work represents the explorations through paints of a feeling and is not intended to be representational, but more a Rorschach test for the body.

Ms Jet Olivia is a materials driven artist & holds a design degree from Parsons School of Design. Function and project parameters are usually the first considerations in designing ; Ms Olivia therefore uses fine art work to explore themes of isolation vs relational and gloss vs absorption. She creates using her synesthesia as well by submitting the body to sound or silence, and documenting the resulting vibrational tones of color and texture. Work is available in oil, metal, polaroids, gouache, watercolor, and acrylics. A working designer and art director, she and her husband, painter H.Jasper Latané, and their two small children split time between the West Coast and NYC.
