About The Artwork
I've always been attracted to the fantasy world (books, movies, art). I go to the park with my children and imagine where fairies could hide to spy on us, or what they may be doing. If you look at previous artworks I did, you will see a few are animal-based. At some point, I decided that it would be fun to mix my realistic paintings with my passion of fantasy. Fairies were the best choice because of their link to nature settings. It took me about two weeks (30-40 minutes every day) to finish this work. I used silver ink and a black pen to do most of the details, and added the finishing touches after the watercolor with a white pen. When I look at this painting, I see a peaceful world -time has frozen in place and we can witness what happens exactly in that moment. I don't think of any noise apart from the soothing sound of water, an ideal place for a bookworm to enjoy a good read, and maybe a soft music to accompany the dancing fairy.

When I walk through the streets of London, I see invisible bridges that wizards cross, children running after pixies and men and women chatting to animals beside them. Heroes may be flawed, but as I read somewhere before "perfect is boring" (I can't quite remember who said it, but thank you from the bottom of my heart for that). So, you may notice in my work that I create achievement through an idea or a story, a sense of Self-Belief and Greatness.
