What/who inspired the work? - the majesty of a lion and the might of the primary colors. What do I hope its viewers will feel/think? - Fell the presence of the mighty lion expressing disdain at first, later leading into a fiery intensity. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? -I wanted to depict the vitality and powerful emotions the primary colors can bring, more so if showed on one of the most used symbols of power: the lion.
