About The Artwork
This painting reflects my interest in physical energy waves, the mysterious forces that bring light and sound to our senses and make tea in our microwaves. I started creating wave paintings some years ago as metaphors for the importance of such energy in our lives. I prefer now to use the word turbulence as this widens the metaphor. Our lives after all are full of turbulence, emotional and otherwise. Each time I create one of these paintings I try to find a new way of portraying the idea, they are variations on theme.
